As part of the Easter Missions Conference (EMC) organised by CCE in April 2026, the gospel of Jesus Christ was preached to the people of Zorbogu, in word and in deed!Souls were given opportunity to eternal life. Zorbogu is a farming community on the Tamale-Yendi road, in northern Ghana. Like many communities in Africa, it has great potential: the people are welcoming and ready to make things work. As farmers, they grow crops like maize, soya beans and groundnuts. However, poverty is real, because the love of God is yet to be fully appreciated and utilised: there is no good source of water; they use a dug-out dam which is often dirty. There are no viable economic opportunities yet, though the indegenes are striving to set up petty trades and road-side services for passing vehicles. Women and children remain vulnerable as traditional and cultural frames limit freedom for salvation godliness and prosperity. As presented in God's word, the gospel of Jesus must be declared not just in words but in deed and in truth (1 John 3: 18). in preaching the gospel to the people of Zorbogu, the CCE Missions and Apologetics Faculty Endeavour Team followed up with the delivery clean water as an initial step towards building a mission base in the community for a sustained presentation of the good news of eternal salvation.
